My name is iris. For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by horses, their expression, their movement and above all their nature. I love handling these animals, touching and observing them. I have been riding for over 30 years now. After starting out as a forest and meadow rider, I trained my Friesian gelding Jenneke up to advanced (S) level in dressage and showed him at competitions. In addition to the sport, we also spent a lot of time on holiday together, going on beach and trail rides and conquering the mountains of Tyrol.
After a pastern injury and the prescribed rest in the stables, from one day to the next all signs were pointing to a standstill. The worst thing was the feeling of not being able to do anything about it and seeing my (sport) partner of many years suffer so much.
